This page explains what Scott Blair Burton’s website (scottblairburton.com) and the SBB Books iPhone app store about you. Last updated October 1, 2026.
The short version
No ads. No tracking across other sites or apps. Nothing is sold or shared. The app collects nothing about you.
The SBB Books iPhone app
The app has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. It downloads the list of books, the book texts, the covers and the audio from this website. Your reading place, listening position, settings and downloaded books stay on your phone and are deleted when you delete the app.
Like any website, the hosting service (Cloudflare) receives the network address of each download in order to deliver it. It is not used to identify you.
The website
- Reading statistics. When you read a chapter, the site records which chapter, how far you read it, and which site sent you (for example, a link from TikTok). This is tied to a random number stored in your browser, not to your name or email address.
- Ratings and comments. If you rate a chapter or post a comment, the rating or comment is stored with the name you typed (optional). Comments are public. To stop spam, a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address is stored with each comment.
- Email list. If you give your email address, it is used only to tell you about new books and audiobooks. You can ask for it to be removed at any time.
- Settings. Your browser keeps your reading place, text size and colors on your device.
- Other services. The home page shows a video from YouTube, and the pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Their own privacy policies apply to those parts.
Where it is stored
Everything the website stores is kept with Cloudflare, which runs this website. Only the author can see it.
Children
The books are written for adults. The website and the app are not directed at children under 13.
